Such a great call to latch onto the curiosity the place inspired—it really comes out in the story. Really nice job, and I love the choice of second person perspective. Thanks for sharing!
A seamless collaboration that produced images akin to those of the classic, dark detective stories. The two of you took us on a trip into the sewer of human greed and revenge. Thanks for the ride.
Ha! So funny you say that because we never mention the odor. Truly amazing how the brain (or a creative writer like yourself) fills in the details, right?
Brilliant, J. and Jason. Just marvelous. You dragged me into the Two Palms Motel and tied me to the bed post. Eeeuuuw! Let me outta here! I have actually stayed in the Two Palms Motel, but it's called Bruno's Country Club Hotel and is in Gerlach, Nevada. I can say I would prefer to sleep in the back seat of a rusted out abandoned Plymouth by the side of the road. Great writing you two!

Thanks James!

Thanks for the kind words, KC!
Magnificent. I could even smell that miserable room.

It was so vivid that I could do it. Really enjoyed it. Fine work.

Thanks Sharron! Indeed the Plymouth would be cleaner, and probably, less prone to needing a vaccine afterward.
Our plan worked!
Indeed it did.
