The majesty of the night sky in open country has always fascinated me. A new character enters the scene: a guide? a romantic interest? Both? It just keeps getting better, J.
Not lately. I've been stuck in the city. In the past, yes. Traveling in New Mexico, we spent a lot of time admiring the desert skies at night. Forty years ago, Carlsbad, NM was part of my sales assignment. I traveled there by night so I'd have more sales time the following day. I'd pull off the highway as I approached the Guadeloupe Mountains and admire El Capitan peak rising up against a backdrop of brilliant stars.

Thanks KC. And, yes, the night sky in a dark setting is truly magic. Do you see it out in the hinterlands?

Beautiful!
What a beautiful experience for George. I love when a piece of music brings on that frisson.
Thanks Rosie! Music enhances everything.
You are creating magic here, J. Curtis. ( I especially loved the part about the owl.)
Owls are magic all their own, aren’t they? Thanks Sharron!
